Aufgrund des Materialwerts begegnet die Flinderhaube im Reglement der städtische Nürnberger Kleiderordnung von 1657. Die Nürnberger Ordnung von 1657 erlaubte Flinderhauben mit "eingedeckten Plättchen", ausschließlich Frauen des Patriziats. Bis in den dritten Stand waren Hauben mit "aufgehefften", also aufgenähten Plättlein zugelassen, deren Schmuckwert gegenüber den frei beweglichen Metallflindern zweifellos zurücktrat. | |||
