The Destreza in general has never been a personal favorite due to its limited range, but the Prime version is slowly making me a believer as it can rip right through armor like it’s nothing. This is unlike most melee weapons available, with the Endura being the one exception, as it’s a rapier that’s held in one hand and strikes forward, at least when not sliding. Oddly enough, the Prime version is nearly 10% slower than the standard Destreza, and damages 20% less in Puncture. Fortunately, everything else is boosted, with a higher critical chance and multiplier, along with the remaining attack values raising ever so slightly, and the status effect chance up over 3x what it originally was. It’s definitely a solid critical-centric weapon, and with the boost of status it should help it go further, but really, it’s nowhere near the level of weapons such as the Atterax which have a much wider spread of damage, which can bring entire rooms to their knees. At least it’s more versatile than say the Kronen Prime that came with the last Prime update, and it still holds up as a pretty good melee weapon.

I thing the whole Warframe vs Mabinogi thing is really exciting! In the previous matchup, AirMech faced Warframe and we unfortunately lost. I noticed many of our players seemed torn between choosing AirMech or Warframe, plus as I know the devs at Digital Extremes (old friends and independent developers themselves) I felt like the most honorable thing to do would be to cheer them on in the next round. I'd never heard of the other game, and never saw it mentioned. I figure why not support some friends, as I heard the other game was offering rewards, and participation is great. I think that companies rewarding their players for voting is perfectly fine. Obviously you're going to support the game you play, so no harm there. If anyone resorts to botting votes, now that is a serious violation and I hope it hasn't happened. I didn't see anything official from Nexon about AirMech and that being the reason they tried so hard (though in the end failed) to win the vote. I'm flattered the players think that our admittedly small community had such a massive influence on the vote in order to justify involving all their games. AirMech is a team of 9 indie developers just building a game we love, and supporting a community we love. We even provided links showing how many potential votes AirMech contributed, but that apparently was ignored. The real winner here is MMOBomb of course. Brilliant move on their part to have this contest, as they have even tricked Nexon into driving them a massive amount of traffic! You can't buy that kind of interest, so really well done there. Warframe also wins, because now all those Nexon players know about Warframe. Even AirMech wins--we've had a ton of signups originating from Nexon forums over the past few days. That wasn't intentional, but I'm happy they now know about AirMech and are playing our game. In fact all the games in this contest are winners, especially the smaller ones that could use some exposure. That’s not to mention the Tibor Prime Armor is some of the best looking cosmetic armor for your Operator. Regardless, I think I enjoy the Limbo Prime update a bit more. Limbo has never been my favorite [https://Warframebase.com/ Warframe Tips|Https://Warframebase.Com/] to play as, but he still provides a very different and unique experience that requires a bit more skill than your average frame. He’s essentially a better looking, and more durable Limbo that is capable in both solo and groups (provided you know how to play him properly). The best part of this update, though, is the weaponry. The Pyrana Prime is now my go-to sidearm, at least when the main weapon isn’t a shotgun, and the Destreza Prime, while it won’t clear rooms like the Galatine Prime or Atterax, it has some great single target power. The animated Rift Walker Prime Sigil is also a nice bonus, although Oblivia Prime Syandana isn’t anything too flashy. Regardless, Limbo Prime is a solid addition that should not be overlooked, and hopefully will boost the frame’s popularity a bit more.
It's amazing to think that any one game could have a dedicated convention, let alone one that's not from one of the big five publishers, but Warframe has done just that. TennoCon is now in its sophomore year and its 2017 incarnation was by all accounts a smashing success. Hardcore Gamer was able to make the trek out to sunny London, Ontario to take part in all the festivities and given exclusive access to many from the Digital Extremes team. We caught up with the ever popular Rebecca Ford -- Live Operations and Community Producer for Warframe -- to chat with her about what Plains of Eidolon means for Warframe, the future of the series and TennoCon as a whole.

While Warframe Patch Notes|Https://Warframebase.Com/ still has microtransactions, the game has been widely praised for keeping things in balance: the online environment certainly isn't 'pay to win', and purchases within the game don't come remotely as close to gambling as the infamous slot machine lever incident mentioned above. Now some 5 years after its initial release, Warframe is still getting updates from the developers as the community continues to dedicate plenty of hours into the space-based shoo

You might be wondering what Destiny 2: New Light is and how it differs from the full game. It contains less content than the full game, which includes expansions such as Destiny 2: Forsaken and Destiny 2: Shadowkeep . Destiny 2: New Light does, however, include the base game and enough content to keep you b

I think it's vital to our survival. We've only survived because we pivoted. You can only pivot so many ways before you go back to where your started. If you keep tearing down existing systems, you're never growing, so you have to add to make that move into content that is surprisingly shocking because I don't think [fans] think we have it in us (laughs). I think our players underestimate us at this particular time and I think it's too our advantage as I don't think they'll see this coming.

Your best bet is to have a frame that has good crowd control, can move fast, and can hold each position. Nyx is a great frame, given her mind control abilities; Nova is good; and Rhino can be good for holding an area. This is an interception mission, so feel free to grind through enemies, though blitzing can be a little more interest

You’ll be running an interception mission, so use any crowd control frames or heavy hitters, like Nyx, Nova, or Rhino. But again, this is an early level mission, so really any frame will be fine. Do whatever it takes to keep this farm interesting, as you’ll be here a while because you’re looking for a rare drop. It’ll feel awesome blowing away enemies in the beginning, but it gets old f

We're about to give them a landscape and they've wanted that. Even if they didn't know they wanted that, the way they give feedback in level design, you can tell they're itching for space. They want more.

Some of the most popular video games today are free-to-play. Games like Dota 2 and Paladins are exploding in popularity because of their ease of access. Anyone can jump into a free-to-play game with their friends, which is convenient because a significant number of free-to-play games are cross-platform enabled. These are 10 free-to-play Steam games to try

We had a lever, basically, for all intents and purposes, and we saw, you know, a guy pull the lever like 200 times. And it’s just like, ‘oh my dear god, what have we done? We’ve created a slot machine.’ And so you know, it was a couple days I think it took us to take it out - a day, day and a half. That one is a big reg

Yes. Right now the player is faced with a faction called the Grineer, who's largely the first fraction you encounter in the game. So, a new player is familiar with them. In the daytime, new players will be very comfortable, learning things about the world. But at nighttime, the Eidolon comes out and that is an enemy that can only be encountered by someone that has the gear and the progression in the game to do so. We're talking hours into the game to unlock different quests to give them access to the Tenno, your operator, so that's a progression lock, more or less. This "kaiju" we call it, can't be countered by someone who hasn't progressed far enough. So it's an end game version of nighttime.

Microtransactions have been an increasingly touchy subject for gamers in the last few years, especially since Star Wars Battlefront 2 found itself in the spotlight after DICE pushed consumers too far. Game developers have been hard-pressed to find innovative ways to increase revenue earned from titles, but today's story is something else entirely: the developer of Warframe removed a microtransaction because it proved too successful. While some studios purposefully target high-spending gamers (who hold the industry nickname of "whales"), one man's click-happy purchase binge changed the philosophy of the Warframe crew fore

It is legitimately true. Warframe is a game made of these tiles. People who went to the tile demonstration know how the game is made, how pieces are streamlined together, and you follow a path and you get to where you want to go, and it's always very linear, more or less. It's fun, it's engaging, it's beautiful, but you're used to it. If you begin to wonder what's next. No one is expecting this which to me is the most exciting part about it.
