In prior issues of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point from Donald Mustard, Christos Gage, Reilly Brown, Nelson Faro DeCastro, and John Kalisz, Batman finds himself on Fortnite Island, unable to speak or recall his memories beyond 22 minutes (the standard time of a round of Fortnite). With every battle where the storm consumes the island, Batman wakes up to fight all over again. For starters, as Catwoman points out , why bother threatening her so intensely? If he had no intention of harming her or hindering Batman, why do it at all? He also pointed a gun at her; he didn't simply restrain her using purely physical force. There was a clear show that he could instantly kill her if Batman made a wrong move. So what exactly was the wrong move? The caped crusader DID ultimately attack him and Catwoman even joined the fray before he surrendered. What exactly is he playing at? Deathstroke also makes a point to call attention to the fact that he doesn't attack the Dark Knight while he's getting his memories back. An attack during a moment of disorientation would seem par for the course for an enemy - yet Catwoman is still free to defend him, so this wouldn't be a smart tactic anyway. Even though Deathstroke claims to be an ally, there is no real reason for anyone to let down their guard with him. His behavior is plenty suspicious and his tactics don't reflect any real sign of sincer


Following this event, several buildings on the map were replaced by futuristic versions of themselves, and the volcano was transformed into a pressure plant by the Unknown Investigation Agency. It was revealed the Vault had also been holding the Zero Point power source, which players on the island could now harness to recreate destroyed locations. This led to a one-eyed monster breaking free of Polar Peak, which terrorized various locations on the island in its attempt to capture the Zero Point. Ultimately, the beast was defeated, but Zero Point was left destabilized and expo
