Anyone picking up Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl _ will know what they're getting into from the jump. The 8-bit action will have a hard time attracting newcomers to this style of game, but it does successfully capture both the spirit of classics like _Double Dragon and the vibe of Kevin Smith's modern output. Zim 's stage looks to take place in space, while Danny Phantom 's stage takes place in some kind of alternate dimension. The titular house from The Loud House looks to feature as its own stage while kitchen level looks like it's probably from The Ren & Stimpy Show _ . In that show, the monsters live in a junkyard, so this would be the perfect setting for them. The other option would be Hey Arnold! , as the look of the stage matches the look of that show. The trailer also shows off a graveyard stage that could be related to the Real Monsters or several other Nick properties like Invader Zim . Although there is a single player Trials mode, Oh My Godheads is a multiplayer game from top to bottom. This is local multiplayer too. There's no online or any other robust modes to be found. Oh My Godheads is strictly for competitive couch play and that's it. First of all, check out the trailer itself, which you can view above. If you skip to 0:35 and pause the screen, you’ll see Patrick Star dropkicking Nigel Thornberry, which understandably draws your eye away from the rest of the frame. Once I saw the white buildings adorned with green and yellow, my mind instantly went to Ba Sing Se - but it could have been somewhere else, right? As distinctive as Ba Sing Se is in Avatar, the portrayal here is 2D and nondescript outside of a vague coloration similarity.
Korra’s braids are usually pretty thin, but if you watch an action sequence from the show you’ll see that her hair thickens in combat. Meanwhile, Aang’s bald head and distinctive ears separate his silhouette from those of pretty much every other Nickelodeon character ever created. As protagonists of some of Nick’s biggest shows, they’re natural shoo-ins for a game - especially a fighting game. Still, it’s refreshing to see some confirmation that we’ve got at least one Avatar stage and two Avatar characters. If they weren’t in All-Star Brawl, there’s no way in hell I’d have considered playing it. Now, though… Well, I might start playing Smash again so I can become an esports pro as a Korra main.
